Una joined the practice in October 2006 and runs the immunisation, asthma, cervical smear, smoking cessation, and health review clinics. She has an interest in chronic disease management, diabetes and weight reduction. Una works all day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and alternative Thursdays. Una is a Nurse Prescriber which enables her to prescribe medications for patients. Appointments should be made by contacting Reception on 2826 1910. |
Treatment Room Nurses
Trish, Diane and Charlotte the treatment room nurses carry out dressings, blood tests, injections, ear syringing and other practical nursing procedures. The treatment room is open from 09:00 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 18:00 (last appointment: 17:30 ). Appointments should be made where possible by contacting the treatment room directly on 2826 1911. |

Mrs Tanya Cowan McKee (f)
Tanya is the practice manager and she has been with the practice since it was established in 1999. Tanya works closely with the doctors to ensure that all serviced are provided effectively and efficiently. She oversees all aspects of the practice’s activities and organisation. She is responsible for ensuring that the practice continues to develop and improve in all areas.
Tanya has completed a Diploma in Primary Care Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Social Care Management.
Tanya is also the Complaints Officer and should you have any complaints or suggestions on how we could improve our practice, you should contact Tanya on 028 2826 1910. |
Mrs Carly McNeill (f)
Carly is our Management Support Officer. She not only provides support and assistance to the Manager but to the whole Admin and Clinical teams. She is also trained to take blood pressure readings and fit 24hour blood pressure monitor. |

Reception
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query.
Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits. |

Physician Assistants
All of our Clerical Team have been trained in other 'Clinical Skills' such as taking Blood Pressure Readings and making Blood Withdrawls. We have feel this level of service is more beneficial to our patietns as it makes our services more flexible for you! |

Karen Foreman is our Practice Pharmacist and works closely with the practice. She performs regular medication reviews, monitors our prescriptions and undertakes regular Audits. You may be contacted by Karen regarding your medication or changes to your medication. |

Community Nurses
There is a district nurse service to visit/treat housebound and chronically ill patients in their own homes. District nurses can be contacted on 028 2826 6126. |
Health Visitors
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. |

- Counselling Services - Joanne, Emma and Susan are our contracted Counsellors. They are an experienced team who see a wide range of patients from 18 years of age. At present they cover 5/6 sessions per week. If you feel you would benefit from speaking to a Counsellor you will required to be referred by the GP. The team work hard to see as many patients as possible and the service is well used so there is a waiting list. Urgent referrals are prioritised.
